Why Do My Kids Make Me Laugh So Hard???

Ok, as many of you know - I've recently labeled my son, Cayden as being "Mr. Literal"....he takes everything in literal terms, & I mean EVERYTHING! haha Here are a few stories that I personally found hilarious! He's been on a roll lately!

Today, I was opening up a fly trap and it smelled like moth balls. I said "Yuck! That smells like moth balls!" & Cayden giggled and said "EWWWWWW how do you know what those smell like?" (HAHAHAHA)

The other day I was trying to get my dog into the house, but he's obsessed with squirrels (just like the dog on 'UP'). I got frustrated with him and said "Awww just forget it" - closed the door and my son said "Yeaaahh he does that to me every time I go pee out there" (Nice to find out my son was using the back yard as his personal bathroom....)



We were at a chinese restaurant and Addison got a fortune cookie. Her fortune said "When one door closes, another door opens" My mother-in-law was explaining to her what that meant...and Cayden said "yeah, like when my dad closes the front door, the playroom door opens"....Mr. Literal strikes again! haha

I was talking to the kids about a 'clean slate' but in hopes of giving a better example I said 'clearing the chalkboard'...Cayden said "what are you even talking about, we don't have a chalkboard'.....

So there are a few of the many many things my son surprises me with all the time! :0) Just makes me crack up!
